Running in the Jungle
Still trying to keep my running practice, I had to do it in the afternoon, in the jungle of Muru, a World Heritage Area on Borneo. Poor me. As most of the accessible jungle here, it is part of a park, and they have well-kept paths.

However, running / jogging here comes with a catch: You need to run fast enough to outrun the mosquitoes and the leeches. That means: never stop, never even slow down. Once I stopped to enjoy the view of a cave at the Sungai Melinau river. Zack: 2 bites.

Interestingly I encountered no other animals, maybe I was just making too much noise with my barefoot-shoes.

And with 90% humidity and 29°C I sweated as never before.
